THE SPACE
We've recently moved to Canberra (Queanbeyan). After sucessfully hosting in Christchurch & Sydney, we now open our doors to folk on travel & adventure in the ACT & NSW. Come & stay a day or more with us!

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have a private room & private bathroom (both upstairs) to themselves featuring a double bed with a firm mattress & soft pillows - wake up to the pretty parakeets chirping & whistling in the morning. Guests also have access to the WiFi, kitchen, washer etc. Fresh sheets & towels are provided. There are plenty of secure off street car parks directly across the 24hr ambulance & emergency service.

The Flying Townhouse proactively promotes healthy & cruelty-free living. Bec is vegan & requires all guests & friends to be at least vegetarian while in-house (no meat, fish or eggs).

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located along the border of ACT & NSW, right across QNBN Hospital. We're a 5 minute stroll (or less) to the mall, trains, stores, cafes, restaurants, pubs, parks, salons, gyms, schools, banks, post shop & much more. Canberra Centre is a 15min drive away & the airport is 10 mins. Sydney & Goulburn are a 3 hour & 1 hour drive (respectively) up north & there a plenty of vineyards & olive groves to drop into along the way. BY ARRANGEMENT
~If you'd like to touch the skies, we can take you up for a fly in a light aircraft around Canberra. If you'd like to stay on earth, we could have you pilot a Boeing simulator.
~Unlimited calling plan to standard mobiles & fixed-lines within OZ + to Canada, France, Germany, India, Singapore, UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan & other select countries.

MIGRATING TO AUSTRALIA
We migrated to OZ from NZ & understand what its like to be in a new country with different people & diverse cultures. As we've been there & done that, we can help you settle down - buy a vehicle, rent a place, open a bank account, sort medicare, obtain a TFN, convert your overseas driver licence, arrange insurance etc. Vegan meals can be arranged for your first few days too by prior arrangement.

HOME RULES
Our place thrives on a fun, friendly, neat & clean atmosphere. A few things to keep in mind:
1) Bring +ve energy & a big smile during your stay
2) Wipe down the bench, dining area etc after use
3) Be vegetarian in-house (no meat, fish or eggs)
4) Do not download pirated/copyrighted material
5) Photo ID will be requested on arrival
6) No smoking

The Flying Townhouse is a cruelty-free & an eco-conscious space. We expect guests to conserve energy where practicable, for example - cold wash & line dry laundry, hand wash dishes, reuse bags, take recycling seriously etc.

We also ask guests to tidy their room & bathroom on checkout. AUD125 will be deducted from the security deposit towards professional cleaners if left messy.
